We are so excited to have the students back in the building! From the general feeling I get as I walk around to the classrooms, it seems the students are glad to be back as well. The summer has been great and I hope you all have had a chance to enjoy the weather and get rested.
As we get back into the swing of things, just a gentle reminder of how important it is to have students here every day and on time. The school day begins at 7:45 but since the busses drop off at 7:20, students can be here any time after that. If your student is absent, please make sure you send in a note or call and let us know the reason so we can excuse them.
8th Grade Parents
I just want you to know how proud I am of how our 8th graders have started the year. We have large K-5 classes and with Mrs. Edgecomb’s support, these student have begun the year as helpers all around the school. It is wonderful to see “the big kids” in the youngers’ classrooms listening to them read or generally helping. Keep up the good work, 8th grade!
6th Grade Parents
In order to best meet student needs, we will be integrating two levels of science, earth and life using the same standards and curriculum. If you have any questions, please call or email.
