Fire Drills and Lockdowns...

We are required to have 2 fire drills within the first
few weeks of school and we had our second one
on Thursday. The fire department was here with 2
trucks and an ambulance so if you hear this news
from your student know that it was part of the drill.
We are also required to have a lockdown drill which
we will have in the near future. Our teachers will be
discussing the procedure with their students but it
still can be a scary experience for the younger
students. If you feel it is appropriate, it does often
help to discuss it at home so students can better
understand the need to practice for safety.
