As part of our effort to emphasize the importance of students being at school each and every day, we took a moment to recognize those students who had perfect attendance during the month of September. During lunch time in the cafeteria, we announced the name of each student who had perfect attendance for the month of September (see list below) and for each of these students, we drew one name per grade span (K-2, 3-5, and 6-8) and that student was given a $10 gift card to Wal-Mart. I am happy to report that Elijah Wood, Robin Faulkingham, and Jenna French were the winners of September's drawing. A huge thank you to the students and parents of Peninsula for their efforts to make sure each student is here every day!!!!
