The Peninsula School will be hosting its third annual Take a Vet to School Day on Thursday, November 7, 2013.This year, we are hoping to have local veterans speak at our event.This event allows for veterans to share their stories with small groups of students regarding their time serving our country, including bringing pictures and school-approved items.Veterans who choose to participate are treated to a luncheon donated by many local businesses.Please contact Sarah Norwood, Social Studies teacher at [email protected] or 207-963-2003 if you are interested or know of someone interested in participating or would like more information.
