I am attaching the three take home tests due on Monday, April 22nd.  Students who would like to earn extra credit points are invited to work on tests from other courses.  

No homework assigned for the weekend.  We covered turning repeating decimals to fractions with course 3 students and did area of complex shapes as a class.

6th grade students have a math problem to share with their families.  They will demonstrate how to calculate pizza's volume using the formula V= Bh.  The pizza is a units deep and the radius of the pizza is z.  :) 

Pi Week Vocabulary:

Students need to write a Pi related article, illustration, comic, recipe for next week's math newsletter.  The piece needs to be a final copy, long enough to be a complete piece but not so long that we need an entire tree to publish.  Be sure to give credit to photographers or illustrators if pictures are taken from the web or other sources. Be creative.  Pi is everywhere!

We are working on scale factor in all classes to start the week.  Students will be working on the majority of work inclass.  Homework for Monday will be the back of the homework sheet. 

Take Home Test 17 is due.  I will correct and return during the week if students complete the test early.
